Pretty stout company. Just curious -- what source did you use for these numbers? I've seen similar lists on B-R and in SABR articles, and there is some variation in the total among the different sources.
Oh snap. I'm glad you asked me about a source for this. I pulled these numbers from my notepad from a couple of years ago. I should have noted where I got those numbers. It would be cool to see the numbers broken down for each player. One of these days, I'll have to try that. When I do, I'll reply back here. I'm making note. :)

Three players who should have gotten to play into their 50th year: Hoyt Wilhelm, Jamie Moyer, and Franco.
I was definitely rooting for Moyer and Franco to get there. Thought Bartolo Colon had an outside shot.
