I fondly remember August 10, 1990 when Craig Grebeck took Nolan Ryan deep. As a Ranger fan, it wasn't great for my team, but as a small and scrappy second basemen, I appreciated witnessing (on TV) Grebeck's miraculous swing and remember how excited my dad and I were at seeing a little guy hit one out off Nolan... those 1990 Sox were pretty exciting at times.
Yep, Morgan was phenomenal. I grew to love him as an announcer on Sunday Night Baseball with Jon Miller since I was an 80s child and too young to appreciate him while growing up, but having dug into his stats in either Joe Posnowski's or Jay Jaffe's book, he was absolutely incredible!

I didn't see that one, but I would have definitely appreciated it. I was always amazed at little Joe Morgan's power.
