Welcome to Day 35 of the 2025 Spring Training Baseball Card Challenge, wherein we revel in the glories of a player who made a big comeback. I’ve written about this card before (right here), so I’ll let you off with just this fuzzy glimpse of Tony Conigliaro as he appeared on his oddball 1969 Globe Imports card.
It’s Saturday, after all, and I (sorta) promised light reading on the weekends during this challenge. See you tomorrow!

Even before he joined the Braves, I loved watching the Big Cat play. He's a two time cancer survivor and the winner of the Comeback player award. His 2000 Topps card came out well after I left the hobby, but my younger brother had a box that I looked thru one Christmas. I sent specifically remember seeing this card, but I know if I did there'd be a smile on my face: https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQZ_Z_UxqiO18lDNXtXcbxGuyd3Irp_k7cmf9xP4JlVoQ&s=10
