Several years back, a member of the Twitter hobby community (Tony L of Off Hiatus Baseball Cards) presented a challenge on his blog: post a card that fits a daily theme each day for 30 days.
You could pick how and where you wanted to post (Twitter, blog, Facebook…whatever), and Tony even suggested you tweak the list to fit your needs. Here is his original gauntlet.
I took that challenge and then molded one of my own a couple years later to celebrate Spring Training. Now, with the Cubs set to usher in *real* spring with their first pitchers-and-catchers workout tomorrow, I’m bringing it back.
So, starting tomorrow (February 9) and running through March 26, the day before (real) Opening Day, I’ll post one card per day, according to the schedule below.
On weekends, I’ll probably post the card as a note with little or no explanation. On weekdays, you’ll get the full complement of my usual nonsense.
Now, the question is…are you in?
To play along, post your entry each day — or any day you like — as a reply to my post, as a post on your favorite social, as a blog entry, as a conversation starter at the dinner table…whatever and wherever! And, of course, feel free to make some adjustments to the subject matter and don’t worry about “missing” a day. Jump in and out whenever you want
Alright, then…ready to have some fun?
Let’s play ball!
